Next Chamber meeting: South Park Chamber of Commerce Mixer & Meeting - March 27th The 2013 Spring Mixer for the SPCC will be combined with the Annual Meeting on Wednesday March 27th. at 5:30pm -7pm at the American Legion Post #172 at 601 Clark Street, Fairplay, CO.* The SPCC(501(c)6) will share the goals & objectives for the Chamber of Commerce in the year ahead, present an update on the Visitors Guide & Business Directory, as well as convey the exciting developments for the South Park Kick Ass BBQ which the chamber is hosting on June 21st, and 22nd, in the Town of Fairplay. If you have questions about what the SPCC can do for you and your business, how, and where your advertising dollars are being spent in the Visitors Guide, and how your business and employees can get involved in the South Park Chamber of Commerce, plan on joining us ! All attendees will also be casting their vote from a gallery of photos submitted for the cover of the 2013 South Park Visitors Guide cover. JUNE 21st & 22nd, 2013 ~ Fairplay, Colorado Registration for this event opens on January 4th 8:30am www.southparkkickassbbq.org On June 21st., and 22nd., of 2013 the South Park Chamber of Commerce will host the 1st Annual South Park Kick Ass BBQ competition, in Fairplay, Colorado. Make your plans early to enter your team, attend the event, provide concessions, or sample the nations best barbecue while listening to great music in the spectacular rocky mountains of South Park Colorado. This is a national KCBBQS, and RMBBQ sanctioned banner barbecue competition with 24 of the top BBQ teams, competing for prize money, bragging rights, and advancement on to the American Royal in Kansas City, MO in the Fall. Join the festivities as BBQ masters from across the U.S. vie for top honors ! Two days of cooking, competition and tasting, as teams cook up some of the best BBQ in the country. Fun for the whole family – food, live music and a kid’s area, all taking place in Fairplay, Colorado. The SPCC is a 501(c)6 organization, and encourages all non-profit organizations to participate in the SPKABBQ, to bring awareness to your mission by sponsoring, or organizing a concurrent event during the BBQ competition and throughout the weekend. We also encourage all chamber members and local businesses to get involved, add promotional items to the competitors Goodie Bags, offer event incentives (additonal lodging days at a discount, % off for Dinner Sunday Night) for competitors, their families and the expected crowd of visitors and attendees for the event.
