Presenter Jill E. Fishinger, CPA
Jill graduated from Clarion University of Pennsylvania with
a Bachleor of Science
Degree in Business Administration with a Major in Accounting
in 1985. She moved to
Colorado Springs with her husband in the fall of 1985 where
she worked in corporate
accounting until moving to Alma in 1994. She continued
working in accounting in
Summit County until starting her own business in 1997. For
the last fifteen years, she
has operated her own accounting business as a sole
practitioner. Her primary area of
focus is tax preparation and tax planning with an emphasis
on small business.
Throughout the course of a year she prepares over 275 Income
Tax Returns including
Individual, Corporation,
S-Corporation, Partnerships, Trusts, and Non-Profits, with a
majority of these being
prepared during the tax season. Extensions, tax issue
resolutions, payroll, and sales tax
returns round out her practice, keeping her busy throughout
the year.

The South Park Chamber of Commerce has been visiting
with the Regional Manager for Market Research. The Sears
company would like to open a Hometown Store in Fairplay. The
store would primarily sell appliances, electronics, yard
equipment and supplies. Anyone interested in entering into a
business agreement with Sears can contact Gerald Huston at
