President / Interim Treasurer

Kristen Werner joined the South Park Chamber in June 2024 serving as the President since January 2026. A Fairplay native and SPHS graduate, Kristen grew up as the daughter of local entrepreneurs, giving her an early appreciation for the dedication and resilience of small business owners.
In April 2021, Kristen opened her massage and bodywork practice in Fairplay, where she helps primarily local clients live with less pain, enjoy more of the activities and adventures they love, and experience a greater quality of life.
Kristen joined the Chamber to connect and collaborate with fellow business owners, learn new skills, and give back to the community she loves and calls home. Becoming President was never part of the plan, but it is a role she now embraces wholeheartedly. Her focus is revitalizing the Chamber by building strong systems, cultivating a committed team, and developing sustainable revenue that allows the organization to support local businesses, strengthen the economy, and preserve the unique character of South Park.

They officially moved to Fairplay full‑time in November 2025 and have embraced the community ever since. Outside of work, Danica enjoys snowboarding, camping, and getting out into the Colorado outdoors as often as possible.
She is excited to be part of the South Park community and looks forward to continuing to learn more about the people, businesses, and organizations that make this area unique. Her goal is to help support local businesses, strengthen connections within the community, and contribute to growth that benefits everyone while preserving what makes South Park truly special.
